About the role:
As a Software Quality Automation Engineer, you will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned QA professionals testing our trading platform.
In this role, you will:
*Design, create and execute from scratch automation scripts using Selenium.
*Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenario.
*Support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing.
*Assist with manual testing; execute manual test cases for products under development using test management/tracking tools.
*Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines.
*Interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
*Collaborate with Software Development Engineers and Product Managers to understand the overall technical architecture and implementation.
Required Experience:
*2+ years of experience with automated functional Selenium testing tool.
*3+ years of software manual QA testing experience.
*3+ years of expertise in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles.
*Strong knowledge of Java.
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar field.
