About the role:
We are looking for a talented Product Manager to manage one of Capitolis' products - a true team player who is eager to be a part of a unique opportunity in the startup scene.
This role will face global financial institutions including investment banks and hedge funds, figuring out their requirements and goals, and directing the development of our platform in turn. Additionally, this role will research client ecosystems and understand how Capitolis products can provide the most value – while constantly implementing and developing necessary features.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the clients to understand and document their needs
Convert client feedback into an effective product specification related to the client requirements
Work closely with developers, UX designers and business leads to create outstanding products and to obtain effort estimation for stories
Prepare and maintain detailed functional specifications addressing the business needs expressed in MRD
Breakdown functional specification into development stories – as appropriate work, with UX designers to support stories with UI
Arrange stories into release plans (development roadmaps) based on business value, estimated effort, and available resources
Validate development roadmap with product owners and other stakeholders, keeping roadmaps updated as development progresses
Produce release notes and user guides
UAT deployment approval
Understand the technical aspects of products and related components
Suggest approaches to address customer needs
Create and maintain product roadmaps, lead agile iterations, spearhead feature prioritization
Analyze product features and user behavior to spot opportunities for value-added services
Facilitate adoption of new features by publishing release notes, guiding end-users, and educating the Support team
Required Experience:
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a product manager
Experience in FinTech or financial institutions is a must
Proven record of successfully launching effective products to clients
Proven knowledge and experience in inbound product engineering, leading R&D teams to product execution and realizing product vision by executing product plans
Proven ability to drive an effective agile product implementation process
Ability to articulate business requirements in the form of detailed specification documents
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
